Just over a week ago, Norm and I packed up the car and headed south to Lancaster, PA again. This time, we went to compete at the Lancaster Archery Classic hosted at Spooky Nook Sports, rather than just a shopping trip to Lancaster Archery Supply like we did last year. The sports complex is amazing, not only can it support nearly any sport, most of them can be played inside the massive warehouse style facility. Built into a section of the warehouse, is the Warehouse Hotel. It’s a full service hotel that is as good as or better than any hotel I’ve stayed in, and definitely worth it for the convenience. Here’s a 4 minute video of some of our experiences from our trip, or rather, the ones we remembered to record.

I’m very thankful that many of my fellow archery friends also attend this tournament, some have even been several times before. Having them around provided a sense of comfort and support when my nerves started getting to me. I could go to them and ask questions and not feel completely overwhelmed by the scale of the event. And they knew all the best places to go for dinner each night 😀

While combing through all the photos and videos we took, I also started tinkering with a logo design. Unfortunately, it’s not Storm Archery .. yet (partly because there may already be one of those), but it’s a start. What do you think?
